Mr. Selçuk Yasar

Head of International Collaborations Unit, Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Turkey

Mr. Selçuk YAŞAR is currently the Head of International Collaborations Unit at the Directorate General for Occupational Safety and Health (DGOSH) of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services (MoFLSS) of Republic of Turkey. He is co-chairing the G20 OSH Experts Network and leading the secretariat of The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s Occupational Safety and Health Network (OIC-OSHNET). He also acts as the focal point of European Agency for Safety and Health at work on behalf of DGOSH where he contributes to the implementation of EU-OSHA’s work programmes at national level.

He previously worked as the MoFLSS representative at the office of the President of the Republic of Turkey. He has actively contributed to development of OSH law, helped draft regulation proposals, developed and delivered training modules in different areas including safety and health legislation, OSH management systems and OSH culture.
