Assoc. Prof. Lilis Surienty Abd Talib

Associate Professor , Universiti Sains Malaysia , Malaysia

She has been a faculty member of School of Management, Universiti Sains Malaysia since 2005. Her works have centered on employees well-being and her most recent research projects are on Return-to-Work Implementation for PERKESO and Safe Commuting with Boon Siew Honda for Batu Kawan Industrial Park communities. She wants to understand the workplaces' motivation to participate in promoting worker's safety and decent workplaces for all. In achieving this, she trains on the Management of Commuting Accidents for workplaces and supervises researchers in the field of occupational safety and health and quality work life. She also works with local NGOs on educating the society about shared prosperity promotions for Malaysia. In the past, her expertise has also been consulted for the state of Penang Local Government projects specifically the Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) Programmes and the Childcare Policy toward community well-being and women active participation in the economy.
