Kanada gehörte zu den Gründungsmitgliedern der Internationalen Arbeitsorganisation (ILO) im Jahre 1919 und nahm während des zweiten Weltkriegs in Europa die Verwaltung der ILO auf. Wir sind stolz auf unsere Fortschritte zur Verbesserung der Arbeitsbedingungen für Kanadier. Wir freuen uns darauf, unsere Erfahrungen zu teilen und von Ihren Erfahrungen zu hören.
The XXII World Congress will embrace the theme of ‘Prevention in the Connected Age: global solutions to achieve safe and health work for all’. We hope to highlight the power of diversity and how different cultures and backgrounds can come together to overcome challenges. In Canada, we know that diversity is our strength. We hope to address this theme by breaking down the information into three major topics:
  • Innovations in Addressing Longstanding Safety and Health Challenges
  • Implications of the Changing World of Work for Occupational Safety and Health
  • Advancing a Culture of Prevention

Special Session

Canada will kick off our hosting duties in October of 2020 with a special virtual session tackling one of the most urgent issues affecting the world: COVID-19.

This session will bring together experts from across the world. Join us as we address the problem through the lens of our major topics.

World Congress

On behalf of the entire health and safety community in Canada, workers, employers, government and researchers, we look forward to welcoming you to Canada in 2021 to participate in the 22nd meeting of the World Congress on Safety and Health at Work.

The Congress will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre North Building, a beautiful location in the heart of Toronto, Canada with bright, open, modern spaces.
