Dr. Charles Johnson

Technical Director, CAS, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Dr. Johnson is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist working mostly in the UK and other parts of Europe. Over the last 40 years he has worked in many areas of occupational psychology and human factors, specialising in recent years in traffic psychology and personnel safety and security. Currently he is the Managing Director of Johnson Doughty Ltd, Technical Director of CAS and a member of the Institute of Asset Management Exam Board.

Automated vehicles raise new questions about OSH risks and responsibilities for workers and employers. This symposium will examine emerging issues, in the near future when traffic is partly automated, and in the subsequent era of totally driverless traffic.
