Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1975), Residency in Internal Medicine and Pulmonology (1978), Master's Degree in Pulmonology - University of Wales (1982) and Doctorate in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (1991) and is a Certified B Reader (NIOSH/USA) since 1988. Member of the Collegium Ramazzini. He has experience in the field of Pulmonology and Public Health, with an emphasis on Clinical Epidemiology, working mainly on the following topics: epidemiology, silicosis, brazil, exposure to silica and asbestos, occupational asthma, imaging methods in occupational pulmonary diseases.
