Dr. Rafael Consunji

Director, Hamad Injury Prevention Program , Hamad Trauma Center, Hamad General Hospital , Qatar

Dr. Consunji is a trauma and critical care surgeon with additional training in injury prevention. His academic and research interests include public health education and injury prevention (road, worker and child safety) in low and middle-income countries, immigrant and migrant worker health, trauma systems and outcomes, trauma risk factor analysis (alcohol and drug use), surgical critical care education, surgical nutrition, surgical infection control, and trauma recidivism.

SYM4 - OSH Data - at the global, national and enterprise level

When reliable OSH data is not available, policy-makers, employers, and workers lack crucial knowledge for the prevention of occupational injuries and diseases. This session will examine data gaps at the global, national and enterprise levels and will highlight new and innovative tools for collecting and using OSH data.
