Dr. Richard Rinehart

Deputy Director, CPWR, United States of America

Dr. Rinehart is a public health professional with experience researching and building consensus on how to improve safety, health, working and employment conditions, and well-being of workers and their families. He joined CPWR in 2018 as Deputy Director, following two decades on CPWR’s Institutional Review Board while working with the OSHA Directorate of Construction, NIOSH, ILO and the U.S. Agency for International Development. He has served in many leadership positions on national and global initiatives on a variety of complex issues. As Deputy Director, Rick provides support to all CPWR’s research, training and service programs and engagement with external partners. He has a doctorate in occupation health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
