Mr. Adrian Cook

An innovative leader within WorkSafeBC’s health and safety consulting strategy Adrian is currently manager of WorkSafeBC’s Safety Culture and Leadership team. For the last 15 years his primary role has been to engage with larger employers in B.C. to improve health and safety performance, focusing on active health and safety management and health and safety culture change.

Starting as a health and safety inspector 28 years ago Adrian has worked with many industry sectors, creating provincial tools and resources focused on health and safety performance improvement; this includes online incident investigation tools, health and safety culture assessment tools, health and safety publications and videos and the “Create and Manage a Healthy and Safe Workplace” area of WorkSafeBC.com. He is a key architect within WorkSafeBC’s health and safety information sharing strategy and design lead for WorkSafeBC’s employer data analysis tool the Employer Health and Safety Planning Tool Kit (EHSPTK).
